All American citizens should have a basic right to shelter and food regardless
if they have the money to pay for it or not. Widespread, increasing
homelessness in America shows like nothing else the moral bankruptcy of the
Democratic and Republican factions ("parties") and their failed economic
policies that have done little if anything to uplift the common masses. Local
governments who criminalize homelessness in various ways are only a notch or two away from
the most fascist governments of history, and pretty much a mirror of hypocrisy when they make utterances of an alleged moral
and patriotic nature. These are the same politicians, by and large, that have
instituted the internationalist open door policy in America, and thereby
shows their true colors as internationalists rather than patriots. In other
words, they provide economic sustenance and jobs for internationalists, but
leave the streets and jails for poor citizens. This is lunacy and the opposite
of patriotism.
America is badly in need of a new awakening through realizing that the Democrats and Republicans are one and the same -- they are two factions of the same party -- and by voting in 3rd parties or independents, we might have a chance to throw off the yoke of police-state fascism, arrogance, internationalism, and modern-day feudalism, so that the general commons can be built up and be for every citizen, all working commoners will have economic fulfillment, and no citizen will be without some kind of basic, decent and private shelter if they want it. That would be a humane nation and a better country for us all.
