Shades of Gray

The quagmires and wars of the Middle East and the broader SW Asia, and Africa, are really perplexing, exasperating, tragic and don't follow an easy-to-understand or logical course, necessarily.  In regards to figuring it all out, too many Americans tend to put these events and groups in black and white without understanding the nuances involved, or the many shades of gray, if you will.   Although much of these foreign policy messes and quagmires are the fault of our demented political leaders, our party supports our military battling groups that really threaten our nation and/or threatening or committing genocide.  Under the direction of the president (Commander-in-Chief), these fights against terrorist organizations should be as narrowly tailored as possible without dragging our nation into a larger quagmire.  Our great thanks to our servicemen and servicewomen who are serving the nation with distinction and honor, and our great sympathy to the families of those who gave their lives for our nation.  These are really difficult times.
